When you read a guide to Fantasy Springs, check the date on it first. Anything written in 2024 rests on completely different assumptions from anything written after April 2025, because the pass you once needed to get in was abolished.
The Standby Pass was dropped on 1 April 2025
Fantasy Springs opened on 6 June 2024 as Tokyo DisneySea’s eighth port. At first, entering the area at all required a Standby Pass, a Disney Premier Access (DPA) purchase, or a stay at one of the qualifying hotels.
That ended on 1 April 2025. Today a park ticket is all you need to walk in, and the attractions run ordinary standby queues. Check the official Standby Pass list and the only Fantasy Springs entry on it is part of a shop — not a single attraction.
So the era of worrying about whether you can even get in is over. One decision remains: queue, or pay for DPA.
The prices — and the one attraction you cannot buy
Fantasy Springs has four attractions. Three take DPA; one does not.
- Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey (Arendelle) — DPA ¥2,500
- Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival (Rapunzel’s Forest) — DPA ¥2,000
- Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure (Peter Pan’s Never Land) — DPA ¥2,000
- Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies — no DPA. You queue, or you skip it
Treat the price as a popularity ranking. Frozen Journey at ¥2,500 ties Soaring for the highest DPA price in the whole park.

The 60-minute rule matters more than the price
DPA is bought through the Tokyo Disney Resort app, and the constraint people overlook is the purchase interval.
Once you hold one, you cannot buy DPA for another attraction until either 60 minutes have passed or your booked time arrives — whichever comes first. Rebuying the same attraction is only possible after you have ridden it or the window has lapsed.
Which puts a hard ceiling on how many DPAs a day can hold. Time runs out before money does — so the order you buy in matters more than the total spend.
How to sequence it
- Queue for Tinker Bell yourself when the wait is short. There is no way to spend money on it
- Spend your first DPA on Frozen Journey, the most expensive and therefore the longest queue
- Sixty minutes later, decide between Rapunzel and Peter Pan for the second
- If you also want DPA outside Fantasy Springs (Soaring, Toy Story Mania), remember it competes for the same 60-minute slots
Compared with 2024, when the fight was simply to get through the gate, the design is now far more straightforward: queue, buy, sequence. Three decisions.
