The first mistake people make travelling to a concert at Sapporo Dome is assuming the venue is near Sapporo Station. It is not. You take the subway out to it, and that single fact determines where you sleep and when you eat. Here is the trip rebuilt from the photos I took at Snow Man’s dome tour stop in Sapporo, and from what I could verify.

First: the venue has a different name now
Ticketing and signage disagree, so start here. Since 1 August 2024 the dome’s official nickname is “Daiwa House PREMIST DOME.” The naming-rights contract runs four years, through 31 July 2028. The venue’s own site uses the new name, while transit directions and maps still say “Sapporo Dome.” Two names, one building — know that and you will not get lost.
- Address: 1 Hitsujigaoka, Toyohira-ku, Sapporo
- Nearest station: Fukuzumi on the subway Toho line, Exit 3, about 10 minutes on foot
- Capacity: 53,796
- Shuttle buses run on event days
The thing to internalise is the Toho line. From Sapporo Station you change at Odori, and fifty thousand people head back down that one line at the same moment after the show. Plan for the return trip, not the outbound one.
Start times differ from day to day
Snow Man’s Dome Tour 2025-2026 “ON” played the same Sapporo venue on consecutive days at different times.
- Saturday 15 November 2025 — 17:00
- Sunday 16 November 2025 — 15:00
Two hours changes the whole itinerary. A 15:00 start ends in the early evening and leaves the night open. A 17:00 start ends at night, after which you will do nothing but travel and eat. Same “one night, two days” on paper; the reverse of each other in practice. Book the hotel and any restaurant backwards from this.
Sapporo was also the tour’s opening stop — Fukuoka followed on 5–7 December, Tokyo 23–26 December, Nagoya 4–7 January 2026 and Osaka 15–18 January. Opening night is the hardest to predict for merchandise queues, so leave slack.
Sleep downtown, not in Fukuzumi

Fukuzumi is a residential district with few places to stay. It is more practical to book around Odori, Susukino or Sapporo Station and simply ride the Toho line both ways. The post-show crush is unavoidable either way, but at least your hotel and your dinner are both at the station you get off at.

What matters in a room is less the square metres than whether there is somewhere to sit and unpack after the show. You will empty out lightsticks and merchandise at least once, so a room with a bench or a chair beside the bed is measurably less annoying than one without.
Opening hours decide the order of your day

That is Sumire miso ramen — the shop name is printed on the rim. The thick layer of lard sealing the surface acts as a lid and keeps the broth scalding to the last mouthful. The flip side is that it is too hot to eat quickly. This is not a shop to visit when you are against the clock.
And here is where it meets the itinerary. Sumire’s Susukino branch opens 17:30 and closes 24:30 (Pixis Building 2F, Minami 3 Nishi 3-9-2). Which means:
- On the 17:00 day — eating before the show is physically impossible. It has to go after
- On the 15:00 day — the shop is open right as you come out. This is the easier day
For context on the name: the original Sumire was founded in Nakanoshima in 1964. The shop trading as Sumire today was started in 1989 by the founder’s third son, while the eldest son’s line became Junren — written with the same characters. That is why you see both names around Sapporo.
The checklist
- The venue is Daiwa House PREMIST DOME = Sapporo Dome. Both names are in active use
- Fukuzumi station, Toho line, 10 minutes on foot. Not walkable from Sapporo Station
- Check the start time for your specific date. Two hours rewrites the trip
- Stay around Odori, Susukino or Sapporo Station — not Fukuzumi
- Work meals backwards from when the restaurant opens. Some cannot be done pre-show
A dome show is won or lost on the timetable outside the venue, not inside it. Write down four things before you go — the name, the line, the start time, the opening hours — and the rest is just enjoying it.
